مستشعر الباب

I mounted it on the garage door last month and now I can check from my phone whether I actually closed it before I drive off. The automations in the app were simple to set up, it even triggers the spotlight when the door opens after dark.

Leaving for work used to mean turning around twice to check the garage door. Now I just glance at my phone and see it's closed, and the automation even reminds me if I left it open. Setup in the app took maybe five minutes.

Checking the app to confirm the garage actually closed is weirdly calming when I'm already halfway down the street. Pairing it with the Spotlight automation was simple enough that I set it up in one sitting.
